Arkona - Zeta Reticulli (A Tale About Hatred and Total Enslavement)
Another Eclipse
release, a Polish band this time, another Pagan/Black album… simple,
direct, cold. Nothing new or special, but done with passion. The
production is rather poor, but the cover is quite effective… it seems
that this type of cover will soon become a landmark for bands signed by
Eclipse Productions. Moreover, I can only appreciate the
label’s promoting of Central and Eastern European Pagan/Black bands,
most of which have great potential. Perhaps a better use of local color
would make them sound better and offer them the identity they are trying
to find. |
