Astray - Promo
202
Astray, 2002
9/10
It’s quite sad a band
like Astray doesn’t manage to find a proper label, cause their music is
a lot better than most of the official released reviewed here in the
magazine. They play a rather original music, mostly out of the
combination they make between fast and aggressive consistent Black Metal
parts and some more musical Gothic/Heavy ones, with good quality singed
voice, all with a consistent dose of atmosphere. Though surprising, this
combination results in a rather unitary music, with a natural evolution
and without any unpleasing breaks. You can listen to a track of this
demo on the compilation CD of the magazine and you can find more about
Astray from the interview we made also in this issue. (markku_astray@hotmail.com).
