Lunatic Gods - Wilderness
Shindy Productions 2002
8,5/10

Whenever I listen to a new CD I first take a close look to the cover to see whether it inspires me in any way. And the cover of this album is nothing special, in my opinion. It resembles old death-metal covers, with scary, ugly faces, so familiar during the 90s. But when I heard the music a different universe opened, wide and complex. It’s album that made think of the fabulous Lux Occulta's My Guardian Anger: a diversity of styles (death/black/doom/art) nicely mixed together, revealing impressive technical abilities. The atmospheric parts are quite inspiring and the production is also ok. It was a pleasure listening to it. Lunatic Gods is a band with great potential and they can do even better than that.
